Rockford Home Sales Hold Steady as Statewide Numbers Dip

ROCKFORD – Home sales in the Rockford area remained steady in March with 308 closed sales, a slight increase from March 2024 and an 11.2% rise from February. Across Illinois, closed sales dropped 4.3% year over year to 9,669, though they rose 23.7% from the previous month. The state’s median home price reached $295,000, up 5% from last year. Rockford’s median price rose to $200,000, up 8.1% from last year.
