DIXON – The Rock River Madness Ride is back for its third year on Saturday, May 3rd with races starting and finishing at the Dixon Park District Facility, 1312 Washington Ave. Riders can choose from routes between 100 and 6 miles, with maps available at rockrivermadness.com. This year’s event offers lower registration fees, with the option to purchase a T-shirt. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rock River Valley Bicycle Club and the maintenance of the Dixon MTB Trails.
Events Director Jennifer Lang said they have routes for all levels of riders.
“We have road rides that take you 30 miles, 55 miles, and 100 miles. Or you can do the trail rides, which are 6 miles, 10 miles, and 13 miles inside Lowell Park,” she said.
