ROCHELLE – Rochelle’s annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta returns Saturday, bringing music, food, and family-friendly activities from 3 to 11 PM.. This year’s celebration will be held at the Rochelle REC Center parking lot due to downtown construction. The event includes performances by Banda Peñasco and Grupo Altiro, dog races, bounce houses, a mechanical bull, craft vendors, and a variety of food options.
Rochelle Councilwoman Rosaelia Arteaga hopes everyone will come join in the fun.
“We have live entertainment, El Ballet Folklorico, the team from the high school and Rochelle’s finest ballet, Xochiquetzal, which do wonderful dancing with children, young through high school, through older generations,” she said.
