Rochelle Woman Facing Home Invasion and Weapon Charges

ROCHELLE – A 35-year-old Rochelle woman is facing Domestic Battery, Home Invasion, Criminal Damage to Property, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon charges after an incident early Friday morning. The Rochelle Police Department say they were called to the 900 block of N. 9th Street for an incident where they say Samantha C. Nelson allegedly entered a residence while armed with a TASER. She was transported to an area hospital before being taken to the Ogle County Jail where she awaits a pretrial release hearing.
