Rochelle Woman Arrested After Brief Pursuit

ROCHELLE — Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Rochelle woman following a reported brief vehicle pursuit on Tuesday. The incident began around 6 PM during a welfare check on South Daysville Road when the 65-year-old driver drove through a ditch and led deputies on a short pursuit ending at Austin Court. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office say Debra Dyer was charged with reckless driving and fleeing/attempt to elude a police officer, processed at the Ogle County Jail, and released with a notice to appear.
