ROCHELLE – A Rochelle man has died after a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded around 5:30 AM on IL Route 64 near Kent Road, where they say a vehicle traveling westbound crossed into the eastbound lane, entered the south ditch, and overturned in a field, landing on its roof. The driver, 55-year-old Douglas Carr of Rochelle, was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.
