HILLCREST – A 66-year-old Rochelle man was arrested Sunday evening after Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of River Road in Hillcrest. Following an investigation, Chris W. Wolfert was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm, and possession of a firearm and ammunition without a FOID card. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail and is being held pending a pretrial hearing.
