ROCHELLE – A Rochelle man has been arrested for Aggravated Battery to a Pregnant Person after an incident Saturday night in Rochelle. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office says that around 10:20 PM they were called to the 100 block of West Orchard Hills Drive in Rochelle. After an investigation, 24-year-old Rafael Valencia Jr. was arrested for Aggravated Battery to a Pregnant Person and Domestic Battery. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail where he is being held pending a pretrial release hearing.
