ROCHELLE — A 63-year-old Rochelle man was arrested Tuesday evening following the execution of a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 900 block of North Main Street, according to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office. Members of the Ogle County Special Operations Unit served the warrant at after a multi month narcotics investigation, with assistance from the Ogle County Emergency Response Team, the Stephenson County Emergency Response Team and the Northwest Illinois Critical Incident Response Team. Harvey D. Haars was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver cocaine, unlawful possession of cocaine and unlawful possession of Suboxone. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail ahead of a pretrial release hearing.
