ROCHELLE – A greenhouse in Rochelle is planning on suspending operations later this year. In a press release, BrightFarms announced they will be ending operations in Rochelle and Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Brightfarms Chief Commercial Officer, Abby Prior, released a statement saying “While we focus on the future, we are deeply grateful for our dedicated team and will continue to support them through this transition.”
The 160,000 square-foot greenhouse first opened in 2016.
