Rochelle Declares May 1 as Day of Prayer

ROCHELLE – The City of Rochelle has proclaimed today as a Day of Prayer, joining communities across the nation in observing the National Day of Prayer. The day encourages residents to reflect, give thanks, and seek guidance through prayer, continuing a tradition rooted in American history since the first Continental Congress in 1774. The observance, established by federal law, is held annually on the first Thursday of May. Rochelle residents are invited to take part in this day of unity and hope through personal or community prayer.
