Rochelle Council Set to Consider New Ambulance Purchase Tonight

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle City Council is expected to consider approving the purchase of a new all wheel drive Horton ambulance from Foster Coach Sales Inc. during its meeting tonight. The proposed $355,787 purchase would replace a 2012 ambulance used by the Rochelle Fire Department. City officials said only one bid was received during the bidding process and that it met all specifications for the project. Due to current production schedules, delivery of the ambulance is expected in fiscal year 2029 if approved.
