HIGHLAND PARK – There is a new twist to the case of the man who pleaded guilty to the deadly mass shooting during the Highland Park July 4th parade. The Sun Times reports Robert Crimo the third signed his trial waiver “Donald Trump” after entering the guilty plea this week. Experts believe this could open the door for defense attorneys to later argue the plea was not voluntary. Crimo admitted to killing seven people and wounding dozens more at the suburban Independence Day parade in 2022.
