BISHOP HILL, Illinois — Amanda Fish and her band will perform a live concert on Saturday, March 22nd, at the Bishop Hill Creative Commons, located at 309 N. Bishop Hill St. The evening will begin with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the music performance at 7 p.m. The event is open to all ages, with a suggested donation of $20-30.
Amanda Fish, a rising star in the Blues Rock and Americana scene, formed her band in 2014 and quickly made a name for herself with her raw, powerful vocals and swampy guitar-driven sound. Her debut album Down In The Dirt earned her the 2016 “Sean Costello Rising Star” Blues Blast Music Award. Fish’s sophomore release, Free, won the 2019 “Best Emerging Artist Album” Blues Music Award, further cementing her place in the blues world.
