Pritzker Still Mulling Over Whether To Testify Before Congress

CHICAGO –  Governor Pritzker is still mulling over whether he will testify before Congress over the state’s immigration policies.  The governor said his decision will be based on scheduling and how beneficial it will be to help people understand the laws.  The Republican chair of the House Oversight Committee requested that Pritzker, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and New York Governor Kathy Hochul testify before the committee on their sanctuary state policies on May 15th.  Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson testified last month before the committee about Chicago’s sanctuary city policy.
