SPRINGFIELD — NBC News projects Democrat JB Pritzker will win re-election in the Illinois race for Governor. Pritzker defeated Republican Darren Bailey to win another term. He is the first Democrat ever in the state to achieve the feat, and the first governor of either party to do so since Republican Jim Thompson in 1982.
