Pritzker Orders State Review of Trump-Era Tariffs’ Impact on Illinois Industries and Consumers

SPRINGFIELD – Governor J.B. Pritzker has issued an executive order for state agencies to evaluate how Trump administration tariffs will impact Illinois industries and consumers. The order announced Monday directs state agencies to identify vulnerabilities and disruptions, prepare for medical supply chain disruptions, stabilize food assistance programs, protect infrastructure investment and strengthen emergency preparedness.
