Pritzker Appoints Berger To Lead IEMA-OHS

SPRINGFIELD —  Governor Pritzker is appointing Theodore Berger to lead the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security.  The appointment is pending state Senate approval.  If approved, it goes into effect May 15th.  Berger has decades of experience in emergency management and homeland security, most recently serving as Executive Director of the Cook County Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security.
