Prescription Drug Drop-Off Scheduled at Rochelle City Hall

ROCHELLE – Representative Bradley Fritts, the City of Rochelle, and the Rochelle Police Department will host a prescription drug drop-off event on Tuesday, June 10, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Rochelle City Hall, 420 N. 6th St. The outdoor drive-thru event allows residents to safely dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired medications without leaving their vehicles. Accepted items include tablets, capsules, patches, pet medications, and vaping devices with lithium batteries removed. Items not accepted include liquids, syringes, and needles. Brochures on state programs will also be available, and additional drop-off events will be posted at RepFritts.com.
