Polo Town & Country Days Returns With Parade, Fireworks, and Family Fun

POLO  — Polo Town & Country Days will take place June 25th through the 29th, celebrating nearly six decades since its founding in 1966 with a full schedule of events for all ages. The five-day festival begins Wednesday with kids’ pool games and continues with carnival rides, bingo, a dunk tank, contests, food vendors, and live music.

Joey Kochsmeier, Vice President of Town and Country Days, said they always enjoy bringing back everyone’s favorites

We have a lot of the normal events that people look forward to as far as the volleyball tournament and the bags tournament and the 5K, then we have the carnival that is bringing all of their food vendors as well,” he said.  “Our festival tent will be front and center in the middle of town and everything will be right around it.”

Highlights include a fireworks show Thursday night at Polo High School, a 5K run, volleyball and bags tournaments, ZOWA pro wrestling, a parade on Sunday, and performances by Route 38 and Whiskey Kitten in the beer garden. Events are centered downtown, with many activities supporting local groups.
