Polo to Develop Community Revitalization Plan with IHDA

POLO — The Illinois Housing Development Authority is working with Ogle County and the City of Polo to create a Community Revitalization Plan to identify housing needs and support economic growth. The project will review local data, conduct a housing survey, hold community meetings, and engage residents, businesses, and nonprofits. Scheduled from March 2026 to March 2027, the plan will guide development priorities, provide a housing needs assessment, and serve as a resource for future planning, though it does not guarantee funding.
