Philadelphia Takes 2 Out of 3 Games From the Cubs Following a 3-1 Win in 10 Innings

The Philadelphia Phillies scored 2 runs in the top of the 10th inning Sunday night at Wrigley Field and beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1.

Philadelphia won the final 2 games in the 3-game series.

A sacrifice fly in the 10th inning by Alec Bohm gave the Phillies a 2-1 lead. The third run came on an infield single by Trea Turner who had 3 hits and 2 RBI in the game.

Jose Alvarado got the win in relief with the save going to Jordan Romano.

Pete Crow-Armstrong had an RBI double for the Cubs.

Chicago wasted a pitching performance from Jameson Taillom who threw 7 innings of 5-hit baseball.

The Cubs begin a series on Tuesday at Pittsburgh.
