ROCHELLE – Petersen Healthcare has been issued a fine by the Illinois Department Of Public Health for failure to provide residents with proper notice before their discharge. In the 4th Quarter of 2024 filings released this week, the IDPH reports that residents of Rochelle Rehab & Health Care Center were not given the required 60-day notice before being asked to relocate. Petersen Healthcare were fined $1,100 for the events that occurred in early November of 2024. Since that time, the facility began sending the required 60-day notices. Petersen Healthcare sold Rochelle Rehab and Health Care Center after filing for bankruptcy last year.
