Pedestrian Struck in Oregon

OREGON – A 62-year-old man from Oregon was injured Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle while walking in the crosswalk at 4th and Washington streets. Police said the man was hit around 10 a.m. by a vehicle driven by a 67-year-old woman from Oregon who was turning east onto West Washington Street. The man had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to OSF Saint Katherine Medical Center in Dixon. The driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
