Oregon Man Charged With Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

OREGON — Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced charges against a 31-year-old Oregon man accused of possessing child sexual abuse material. Giuseppe Venezia was charged in Ogle County Circuit Court with 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, each a Class 2 felony punishable by up to seven years in prison. Authorities said investigators with the Attorney General’s Office, Illinois State Police and the Oregon Police Department searched Venezia’s home in the 400 block of South 10th Street on Thursday and arrested him after allegedly finding evidence of child sexual abuse material.
