OREGON – The City of Oregon will start its 2025 sidewalk replacement project in early April, focusing on improving pedestrian access, walkability, and the condition of sidewalks. Work will begin near routes to the school, Jefferson and Madison streets, which have heavy pedestrian traffic, and sections affected by tree roots or damaged pavement. The project will be completed in-house at a cost of up to $10,000, which will be less than contracting the work out. The project is set to begin as soon as weather permits.
