Oregon City Council Approves Downtown Façade Grants

OREGON — The Oregon City Council approved several grants last Tuesday to help property owners update downtown buildings. The matching grants were increased from $5,000 to $7,500 per project, raising the total yearly funding from $25,000 to $37,500 while keeping five grants each year. Funded through TIF and economic development money, the grants will pay for paint, masonry, signs, and small repairs at buildings including 111-113 S. 4th Street and 307 W. Washington Street.
