Oregon Chamber of Commerce Hosts Sustainability-Focused Lunch N’ Learn

OREGON – The Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce will host a special Lunch N’ Learn on sustainability efforts on March 10th from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Coliseum Museum of Art, Antiques & Americana, 124 N. 4th St. in Oregon. The free event will feature expert speakers, including Darin DeHaan, City Manager of Oregon; Kevin Gadzala, Regional Manager of Community Affairs at Nicor; and Nick Escobar, External Affairs Manager at ComEd.  DeHaan said that the event will be about how to stretch that hard earned dollar.

“This Lunch and Learn really is just talking about energy saving techniques, programs, rebates, but it’s basically just trying to bring some information to the community, business owners, building owners, on ways they can save on energy costs,” he said.

Attendees will hear about sustainability efforts impacting the region. Lunch will be provided, but registration is required.
