OREGON – The Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce is relocating to Sarah Phelps Plaza at 418 W. Washington St. as part of a broader effort to better serve the local business community.
Chance Munroe, Executive Director said the space wasn’t being fully utilized as of late.
“It’s got that outdoor plaza area with tables, chairs, umbrellas,” he said. “So we’re looking forward to hosting events out on the plaza, potentially doing some market type events, food truck events and really bringing kind of a central location to that area.”
It also opens up the Chamber’s current office at 122 N. 4th St. for a new business, with Chamber members getting first opportunity to lease the space.
