Oregon Announces Brush and Yard Waste Pickup Schedules for 2025

OREGON – Brush pickup will begin in Oregon on March 31st, and yard waste pickup starts the following day, April 1, 2025. Schedules can be found at Oregon City Hall and on the city’s website. Yard waste will be collected bi-weekly on the opposite week of recycling pickup, with all waste needing to be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM. Yard waste should be in biodegradable paper bags or containers marked with an ‘X,’ each weighing no more than 50 pounds. Branches smaller than 1 inch in diameter or 4 feet long must be bundled. Larger branches, classified as brush, should be placed at the terrace by 7:00 AM, stacked parallel to the curb in manageable piles no higher than 4 feet, 4 feet deep, and 12 feet long. Piles should be spaced 1 foot apart and kept clear of trees or obstacles. Waste that is improperly stacked or uncontained will not be collected.
