OREGON — The Ogle County Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting its 2026 rain barrel sale, offering residents a way to collect rainwater for use in lawns and gardens while helping reduce stormwater runoff and pollution. Organizers say rain barrels provide a source of natural, chemical free water for plants and can support a healthier local watershed. Preorders are now open, with pickup planned for later this spring. A tumbling composter is also available as part of the sale. Additional details on pricing, pickup, and installation are available through the district’s website. The City of Oregon is co-hosting the event.
