Ogle County Judge Finds Two Men Unfit for Trial in Child Sex Crime Case

OREGON — An Ogle County judge has ruled 28-year-old Timothy O’Dell and 24-year-old Joseph Dreesen unfit to stand trial on charges involving sexual offenses against minors, ordering both men into treatment facilities in April. Dreesen was arrested after an FBI and sheriff’s office raid at a home in rural Stillman Valley and is charged with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child. O’Dell was arrested by Rochelle Police following an investigation and faces charges of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Indecent Solicitation of a Child. O’Dell is due in court May 28th, and Dreesen on June 30th.
