OREGON – The Ogle County Fair Pageant will take place Wednesday, July 30th, offering young participants from across the county a chance to compete for scholarships and titles in several age divisions. Early registration is open through June 14th, with fees starting at $30, and all competitions will be held on stage near the fair’s front gate. Categories include Little Miss and Mister (ages 5–9), Young Miss (9–11), Junior Miss (12–15), and Miss Ogle County (16–21), with scholarship awards ranging from $50 to $1,000. Blakelynn Swanson, the 2024 Miss Ogle County, will pass on the crown after a year representing the fair through agriculture, livestock shows, and community events.
“I’ve done a lot of really fun things and it’s probably cliche to say the fair, but the fair week is most definitely where you’ll have your most fun and kind of meet people and see what you can really do with your reign,” she said.
