Ogle County Deputy Assigned to local DCFS in Cost-Saving Deal

OREGON –  Ogle County has signed a new agreement with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to place a sheriff’s deputy at the agency part time. DCFS will pay the full cost of the position, including salary, benefits, and equipment. The arrangement is expected to improve coordination on child welfare cases while saving county funds.
