CHICAGO — The Obama Presidential Center is finally set to open on Chicago’s South Side. In a video posted by the Obama Foundation, former President Obama announced the center will open its doors to the public beginning on June 19th. Grand opening celebrations will begin on June 18th and last through June 21st with a series of events. The campus will include a museum, a branch of the Chicago Public Library, green spaces with public art, and a basketball court.
