Northern Illinois Food Bank Holds Mobile Market In Polo Today

POLO — The Northern Illinois Food Bank Mobile Market will distribute free fresh groceries today from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Polo Lifeline, 113 North Green Avenue in Polo. Officials said the distribution is open to everyone and no ID, proof of income, or referral is required. The food bank said both distributions in Ogle County are operating as drive thru events and food will be available on a first come, first served basis. The organization serves 13 counties across Northern Illinois and provides about 250,000 meals per day through its Feeding America network. The next Ogle County Mobile Market is scheduled for Thursday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Jesus Christ Love and Hope Church, 409 Brayton Road in Mount Morris.
