NIU will wrap up 2025 Spring Football Practices on Saturday with the annual Spring Showcase beginning at Noon in Huskie Stadium.
The Huskies will have 15 practices this spring prior to the 2025 season.
Prior to the Showcase, NIU will hold the Huskie Tailgate and Surplus Sale (10-11:30 am) with giveaways, a Kids’ Zone, food trucks and more. The Surplus Sale will be held in the Chessick Center while the Tailgate will take place on the West Side of the Chessick across from the baseball field. Both events are free to the public as are the NIU Softball doubleheader (1 pm) and baseball game (2 pm).
NIU opens up the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30th with a home agame against Holy Cross.
They have road games against Maryland and Mississippi State.
