DeKALB, Ill. – On Wednesday, NIU officials formally introduced new Huskie women’s basketball head coach Jacey Brooks.
Brooks was named the 11th head coach in the history of NIU women’s basketball on April 1. Her 18 years of collegiate coaching experience, including five seasons as a successful head coach and eight total postseason appearances, now include helping lead the University at Buffalo to the 2025 WNIT Championship as she completed her tenure with the Bulls last Saturday.
Brooks replaces Lisa Carlsen who was head coach at NIU for 10 seasons.
