NFL Commissioner Visits Illinois For Talks About A New Football Stadium

There are some new developments in the Bears stadium search. Governor Pritzker and several state leaders met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about keeping the team in Illinois.
There are reports that there could be more discussion at the state level when legislators return to Springfield next month for the fall veto session.
The Bears announced this summer that their focus remains on a proposed stadium project in Hammond, Indiana. The team is under lease at Soldier Field until 2033.
