MT. MORRIS — Musicians from across the region will gather in Mt. Morris on Saturday for a full afternoon of live music at multiple locations from 1 to 5 p.m. during PorchFest. Performers include solo artists, duos, and bands covering genres like rock, blues, country, bluegrass, folk, and pop. Scheduled acts include Dan Elsasser, The Magtones, Well Strung, and Denny Diamond, with performances held at various venues including Kalnins’, The Center, and College Hall. Family-friendly entertainment will be available on a number of front porches throughout the community.
Jeff Bold with Encore Mt. Morris says there is something for everyone.
“PorchFest varies anything from rock and roll to religious music. There’s a lot of folk music. We have 18 different music choices this year.,” he said.
