DEKALB — Residents will be able to access a variety of Illinois Secretary of State driver and vehicle services during a mobile service event at the DeKalb Township Building on June 24. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2323 S. 4th St. and will offer services including license plate sticker renewals, Real ID transactions, first time state ID issuance, state ID and driver’s license renewals, duplicates and corrections. Road tests and written exams will not be available. Township officials said appointments are required and may be scheduled directly through DeKalb Township rather than through the state’s online appointment system. A limited number of appointments are available, and residents are encouraged to register early by contacting the township office.
