ROCKFORD – A man who was wanted in a shooting last month in Rockford is in custody. Damajae McKenzie was arrested yesterday by U.S. Marshals in Calumet City. He was wanted on charges of Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Domestic Battery in the January 8th shooting of a man in the 600 block of Rome Avenue.
