Man, Two Officers Shot In Bettendorf

BETTENDORF, IA – Officials are investigating a police shooting in Bettendorf that left two officers and a man wounded.  Bettendorf Police Chief Doug Scott says officers were called out early yesterday on a report of a domestic disturbance involving a knife in the 26-hundred block of Cypress Drive.  Officers encountered a man with a gun, and gunfire was exchanged.  The man and two officers were shot and taken to the hospital.  The officers have since been released, while the man remains in stable condition.
