JOLIET – An Illinois man has been found guilty of murdering a six-year-old Palestinian-American boy. Seventy-three-year-old Joseph Czuba stabbed the boy more than two dozen times and his mother more than a dozen in an attack inside their home in October 2023. Czuba was the mother and child’s landlord. Officials said he targeted them in response to Hamas’ attack on Israel a week before. Czuba was found guilty on multiple murder and hate crime charges.
