Man Charged With Starting Fire That Killed CFD Captain To Remain In Custody


CHICAGO  —  The man charged with starting a fire that killed a Chicago Fire Captain last week will remain in custody.   A Cook County judge ordered Charles Green be detained as he awaits trial.  Investigators says he allegedly started a trash bin fire that ignited a garage last Wednesday.  Captain David Meyer died after the garage collapsed on him.  Green is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated arson.
