ROCKFORD – A 32-year-old Rockford man faces charges in a hit and run that left a teenage bicyclist injured. Police say the 15-year-old was hit by a vehicle on June 20th while riding her bike at the intersection of North 2nd Street and Ethel Avenue in Rockford. The driver fled the scene afterwards. Investigators later identified the suspect as Tyrone Cochran, who was arrested for failure to report an accident, driving on a suspended license and outstanding warrants.
