SYCAMORE — A Waterman man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after deputies responded Sunday morning to a check status call outside the DeKalb County Jail. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 6 a.m. to 150 North Main Street and found Thomas W. Raap, 32, of Waterman, allegedly still under the influence of alcohol after driving his motorcycle to the jail following a previous DUI release earlier in the night. Raap was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and expired registration before being turned over to corrections.
