The Cubs finally put an end to their lengthy losing streak after beating the Pirates 10-4 in Pittsburgh. Jacob Webb picked up the victory after striking out the side in a scoreless inning of relief.
Ian Happ slugged a three-run blast and Michael Conforto went deep with a two-run shot in the top of the seventh. Chicago had lost each of its last 10.
Yohan Ramirez suffered the loss after allowing four runs on three hits. The Bucs were seeking a fourth straight win.
