ROCHELLE – The 2025 Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival will be held at Atwood Park for one year only due to construction downtown. The event will feature a variety of entertainment, including performances by Rolling Whiskey, Blue Steam, Ballet Folklorico de Colores, and High Infidelity.
Pete Agnos with the Lincoln Highway Heritage Fest said the temporary change of venue will lead to big improvements in the future
“With the construction that the city is going to be doing downtown where the gazebo was, adding the new stage, and doing a little bit revamp on the parking and adding public restrooms and things like that,” he said.
Organizers are seeking volunteers and encouraging those interested to attend monthly public meetings at the VFW. The festival will take place from August 15-17, with more details available at LHHFest.com.
