ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and the Flagg-Rochelle Park District are teaming up next month again for the annual adult kickball tournament. “Kicking It For A Cause” returns May 10th to VFW park. The event benefits both the Chamber’s program and the Park District’s Engage program. Executive Director of the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce Tricia Herrera said it’ll be fun, even if you aren’t an athlete.
“You don’t have to be a seasoned sports athlete to play kickball, right? We all remember that,” she said. “So while you don’t have to be a seasoned athlete, you have to have that little competitive edge.”
There will be food trucks, a beer garden, and plenty of fun action on the field.
